Dedicated to my sweet, loving grandmother Ann L. Spruill and a
special Thanks to her equally sweet, loving twin sister, my great Aunt Sue Brown.

Grandmother

Steaming hot tears roll down my face,
As I sit and I stare into outer space.

I look back on the wonderful times we had.
I know your better off, but I'm still so sad.

I remember your laugh and radiant smile.
You were a grandmother with alot of style.

I sit and watch the videos of you prancing around.
Our laughing with happiness is a calming sound.

You were there for me, as I tried to be for you.
Now that you're gone, at least I still have Aunt Sue.

Because you are twins I look at her and see you.
She's been a big help to try and see me through.

We sit and reflect on the good times of the past.
In our hearts and minds the memories always will last.

I hate this disease that took you away.
I just hope and pray there's a cure for cancer some day.
